LSU Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center selects PHNS

DALLAS,TX- January 30, 2007 – Louisiana State University Health Care Services Division's Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center (LJC), a flagship of Disease Management within the LSU HCSD Disease Management Programs in Diabetes, Asthma, HIV-AIDS and Cancer Screening, has chosen PHNS to provide comprehensive health information management (HIM) consulting services. PHNS will perform a detailed assessment of LJC’s HIM practices and collaborate with LJC to implement best practices.  

PHNS’ HIM Division currently provides interim staff placement, coding, auditing, education, release of information, records management and transcription services for over 385 healthcare customers. All services are offered on an “as needed” basis or on a full service outsourcing relationship.
