Bear Valley Community Hospital Selects PHNS for Remote Coding Services
DALLAS, TX - December 28, 2007 - Bear Valley Community Hospital (Bear Valley), a community hospital serving Big Bear Lake, California, has chosen PHNS to provide comprehensive medical coding services for Bear Valley’s Health Information Management (HIM) department. PHNS will provide Bear Valley with experienced, credentialed HIM professionals to perform medical record coding through Bear Valley’s HIPAA compliant virtual private network.
PHNS’ HIM Division currently provides interim staff placement, coding, auditing, education, release of information, records management and transcription services for over 385 healthcare customers. All services are offered on an 'as needed' basis or on a full service outsourcing relationship.
