Knapp Medical Center Engages PHNS for Implementation Consulting Services

DALLAS, TX - December 26, 2007 - PHNS Inc. (PHNS) announced that Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco, Texas (Knapp), has engaged PHNS to provide implementation consulting services in support of Knapp’s implementation of the McKesson Paragon, Horizon Patient Folder and Horizon Business Folder systems. PHNS will provide comprehensive implementation services, including health information management transformation, patient registration/business office workflow, interfaces, assessments and care plans, order management and operating room management, laboratory and microbiology, staff training and business process re-engineering services to promote electronic health record (EHR) best practices.
