Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Engages PHNS For Health Information Management Services

DALLAS, TX- November 28, 2007 - Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital (Good Shepherd Hospital), an Advocate Health Care hospital providing quality, compassionate health care services for more than twenty years, located in Barrington, Illinois, has chosen PHNS to provide interim management services for the Health Information Management (HIM) department. Since 2000 PHNS has provided HIM outsourcing services to another Advocate Health Care hospital, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Downers Grove, Illinois.

PHNS' HIM Division currently provides interim staff placement, coding, auditing, education, release of information, records management and transcription services for over 385 healthcare customers. All services are offered on an 'as needed' basis or on a full service outsourcing relationship.
