TMC HealthCare selects PHNS
DALLAS,
TX- August 31, 2006 – TMC HealthCare (TMCH), Southern Arizona's regional nonprofit hospital system
encompassing Tucson Medical Center, Eldorado
Hospital, and Saguaro Physician Group has chosen PHNS to
provide comprehensive medical coding auditing services. PHNS
will collaborate with TMCH to ensure that TMCH’s coding
practices are compliant with applicable regulations, resulting
in protection against errors, omissions and other cases that
might constitute fraud and abuse, while assuring proper
revenue and reimbursement.
PHNS’
HIM Division currently provides interim staff placement, coding,
auditing, education, release of information, records management
and transcription for over 350 healthcare customers. All
services are offered on an “as needed” basis or on a full
service outsourcing relationship.
