Anderson Cancer Center Selects PHNS
DALLAS, TX- August 14, 2006 – The
University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, one
of the world’s most respected cancer centers, has selected
PHNS to provide remote health information coding services.
PHNS will access M. D. Anderson’s electronic health records
through a remote-access virtual private network to exchange
patient information in a secure and confidential
environment. PHNS’ commitment
to coding quality and turnaround time will have a positive
impact on M.D. Anderson’s information flow and revenue cycle.
PHNS’
depth of experience in coding and health information management
services serves as the foundation for “site specific” services
that are customized to meet the exact requirements and needs of
its hospital customers. PHNS’ HIM Division currently provides
interim staff placement, coding, auditing, education, release of
information, records management and transcription for over 350

needed” basis or on a full service outsourcing relationship.
