Sisters of Charity of Saint Augustine Hospital selects PHNS
DALLAS, TX- May 30, 2006 – Providence Hospital, a 247-bed
hospital located in beautiful downtown Columbia, South
Carolina, has selected PHNS to provide an onsite audit of the
inpatient coding division of its Health Information Management
(HIM) department. PHNS will provide Providence Hospital with
a thorough review of inpatient medical records to ensure
accuracy in documentation and applied coding, and also will
provide any necessary recommendations and education to the
coding staff. PHNS currently provides remote coding and
onsite coding compliance audit services to Providence
Hospital’s sister hospitals: St. Vincent Charity and St. John
Westshore Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
