Hamot Medical Center Selects PHNS for Onsite and Remote Coding Compliance Audits
DALLAS, TX- April 2, 2007 -
Hamot Medical Center, a 343-bed hospital, Erie, Pennsylvania, has selected PHNS to provide both an onsite
audit of inpatient coding services and a remote audit of interventional radiology coding services of its
Health Information Management (HIM) department. PHNS will provide Hamot Medical Center with experienced,
credentialed HIM professionals to perform thorough reviews of both inpatient and interventional radiology
medical records to ensure accuracy in documentation and applied coding, as well as to provide any necessary
recommendations and coding staff education.
