PHNS Batesville Regional Service Center To Become A Reality
DALLAS,
TX- February 28, 2007 -
PHNS Inc. announced that beginning March 5, 2007 PHNS will begin renovation of 13,439 square
feet of the old Wal-Mart building in Batesville, Mississippi, to transform it into a state of the
art regional service center. PHNS, a national healthcare services company headquartered in Dallas,
Texas, has signed a ten-year lease with Utley Properties of Water Valley, Mississippi for the property.
Renovation and upgrades to the building will cost nearly half a million dollars and are expected to take
about eight weeks.
The new PHNS Batesville Regional Service Center will provide comprehensive information technology
services, health information services, consolidated business office services, and receivable management
services to community hospitals and related community healthcare facilities in Mississippi, Tennessee,
Alabama, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
The new service center initially will house the 42 PHNS employees currently located on the campus
of Tri-Lakes Medical Center, which has a long-term services agreement with PHNS, plus additional
new jobs created as a result of PHNS' expected growth in the region. The service center is expected
to create at least 80 new jobs over the next three years.
