St. Mary Regional Medical Center Selects PHNS

DALLAS, TX- February 15, 2007 - St. Mary Regional Medical Center ("SMRMC") in Apple Valley, California, a member of the St. Joseph Health System, has selected PHNS to provide interim health information management services.  

PHNS currently provides full HIM outsourcing services for 17 hospitals, coding services for over 90 healthcare customers and transcription services for approximately 30 healthcare customers. PHNS offers a broad line of additional HIM services, including auditing, education, release of information ("ROI"), record management, electronic health record ("EHR") transition services record storage, interim management, staff placement and contract management services), as well as information technology and receivables management services to over 260 additional hospitals and healthcare providers. All services are offered on an "as needed" basis or on a full service outsourcing relationship.
