PHNS to Provide HIM Services to Stevens Hospital
DALLAS, TX - January 10, 2008 - Stevens Hospital (Stevens), a governmental district hospital located in Edmonds, Washington, has chosen PHNS to provide professional services for the Health Information Management (HIM) department. PHNS will oversee data scan services and provide Stevens with the assessment and recommendations for the remediation of Stevens' master patient index in preparation for its electronic medical record (EMR) conversion.
PHNS' HIM Services Division currently provides EMR transition services, coding, auditing, education, release of information, records management, records storage, interim management, staff placement, contract management and transcription, for over 385 healthcare clients. All services are offered on an "as needed" basis or full service outsourcing relationship.
