Augustine Health Selects PHNS
DALLAS, TX - January 7, 2008 - Augustine Health, a physician group practice of Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals in South Carolina, has selected PHNS to provide coding compliance services. PHNS will provide Augustine Health with experienced, credentialed health information management (HIM) professionals to perform thorough reviews of medical record coding to ensure accuracy in documentation and applied coding, as well as to provide any necessary recommendations and coding staff education.
PHNS' HIM Services Division currently provides EMR transition services, coding, auditing, education, release of information, records management, records storage, interim management, staff placement, contract management and transcription, for over 385 healthcare clients. All services are offered on an "as needed" basis or full service outsourcing relationship.
