Wendy Whittington, MD, MMM, is an expert in translating clinical processes into tangible business results. She has twenty years of experience practicing medicine.
Dr. Whittington has served in the community hospital setting as Vice President for Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Information Officer and Chief Information Officer, Vice President for Information Technology. She has served as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont and as Medical Director for Child Advocacy Centers and technology start up companies and has extensive experience working to translate clinical workflows into electronic records.
Dr. Whittington earned her BA degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers-New Brunswick. She received her MD from UMDNJ in Newark, NJ, and completed her residency in pediatrics at The University of Colorado, The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She completed her Masters degree in Medical Management at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009.
