Regulatory Compliance Training and Education

The crux of education and training is the design of an educational program to ensure that all employees fully understand their compliance-related job functions and responsibilities. All client employees will receive mandatory regulatory compliance education and training. This regulatory compliance education and training is conducted in different forms (i.e., face-to-face, video-conference, telephone conference or computer based training).

PHNS’ regulatory compliance education and training programs contain the following features:

  • An overview of the Code of Corporate Conduct and PHNS Regulatory Compliance Program;
  • An explanation of the function of the PHNS Compliance Hotline;
  • The obligation on the part of client employees and independent contractors to follow actively the Code of Corporate Conduct and to participate in the PHNS Regulatory Compliance Program;
  • Education specific to client employees’ and independent contractors’ job responsibilities;
  • Discussion of federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies that affect the employees’ and independent contractors’ job functions; and
  • Scenarios that pinpoint possible compliance issues, demonstrate client employee and independent contractor responsibilities when they become aware of potential issues and encourage client employee and independent contractor interaction.
