Richard Kneipper co-founded PHNS and has served as the Chief Administrative Officer, Secretary and a director since 1999. He was also General Counsel from 1995 until July 2006. Mr. Kneipper was a partner of the Jones Day law firm in Dallas from 1981 to 1996 and Of Counsel from 1996 to January 2000, and was a partner and an associate of the Chadbourne & Parke law firm in New York City from 1968 to 1981. Mr. Kneipper holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University and a J.D. from Cornell University Law School. Mr. Kneipper has been a member of the Dallas County Hospital District Board of Managers, which manages Parkland Health and Hospital System, Chairman of the Board’s Budget and Finance Committee, Chairman of the Board’s Information Systems Committee, and a member of its Legal Committee. Mr. Kneipper is the chairman and co-founder of Dallas’ Adopt-A-Monument program, now a part of the Dallas Foundation. Mr. Kneipper is also on the Advisory Board of the Appalachian College Association, the Executive Education Advisory Council of the University of Texas at Dallas School of Management and the Board of Advisors of the School of Visual Arts of the University of North Texas.
