Charles "Chick" Young

Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder

Charles Young co-founded PHNS and has served as Chairman of the Board since 1999. Effective as of September 15, 2008, Mr. Young retired as CEO, but will remain with PHNS as its Chairman of the Board and as a consultant. Mr. Young brings over 39 years of IT experience to PHNS. From April 1996 to March 1999, Mr. Young served as the Chief Executive Officer for International Sourcing Limited, an IT company. Prior to that time, Mr. Young served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (“ACS”), a business technology company co-founded by Mr. Young. From April 1983 to June of 1988, Mr. Young served as Executive Vice President of Outsourcing and Software of MTech. MTech, until its sale to Electronic Data Systems Corporation (“EDS”) in 1988, was one of the largest IT processors for financial institutions in the U.S. Mr. Young holds an IT degree from Delgado College of New Orleans. Mr. Young is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Jesuit College Preparatory School and is a member of the board of the Jesuit School Foundation.
